We are looking for a Payroll & HR Administration Manager – LATAM to lead regional payroll governance, ensure operational excellence, and drive continuous improvement across payroll and HR administration processes in multiple LATAM countries.

This is a key regional leadership role with responsibility for vendor governance, payroll compliance, HRIS coordination, and team development, supporting approximately 2,500 employees across LATAM.

The role reports directly to the RCoE Manager HR – LATAM Region.

Your Mission:  As Payroll & HR Administration Manager, you will review payroll operations to support accurate, compliant, and timely processing while strengthening governance and service quality across the region. You will work in close partnership with our regional payroll vendor and lead a team of 4–5 Payroll & HR Administration Specialists. You will also play a strategic role in regional transformation initiatives, including payroll system implementation and process standardization

Key Responsibilities

1. Strategic Leadership & Governance

  • Develop a standardized payroll governance model across LATAM to align vendor operations, reduce risk, and increase regional consistency

  • Define and monitor SLAs and KPIs with the payroll vendor

  • Lead payroll transformation and process improvement initiatives, leveraging global HR shared services best practices

2. Payroll Operations Oversight

  • Partner with local HR teams to ensure timely and accurate submission of payroll inputs

  • Validate vendor-generated payroll calculations, ensuring correct application of payments, deductions, and legal provisions

  • Maintain regional quality-control checkpoints

3. HR Administration

  • Supervise the HR Administration team and ensure accurate management of personnel records across HR systems

  • Oversee onboarding, offboarding, employee data management, and compliance with local policies and procedures

4. HRIS Coordination

  • Represent LATAM in coordination with the Global CoE for SuccessFactors

  • Collaborate with payroll vendors and IT teams on system integrations, modifications, and issue resolution

5. Compliance & Regulatory Management

  • Ensure vendor accountability for payroll compliance and statutory reporting

  • Coordinate payroll audit documentation and issue resolution with vendors and internal Epiroc teams

6. Team Management

  • Lead and develop a team of Payroll & HR Administration Specialists

  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and service excellence

7. System Implementation & Regional Projects

  • Lead LATAM payroll workstream during the 2026–2027 payroll system implementation

  • Ensure data readiness, local requirement alignment, and testing coordination

8. Tax Administration Support

  • Coordinate tax registrations and updates across LATAM jurisdictions

  • Ensure compliant filings in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders

9. Financial Reporting & Budgeting

  • Prepare payroll reports and support financial forecasting and budget planning

10. Stakeholder & Vendor Management

  • Act as a key liaison between HR, Finance, IT, and external partners

  • Ensure clear communication, strong partnerships, and seamless service delivery

Requeriments

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Human Resources, or related field. Master’s degree or CPA is a plus

Experience & Knowledge

  • 5–7 years of experience in payroll and HR administration management

  • Multi-country payroll experience (LATAM strongly preferred)

  • Experience working with large payroll platforms and HRIS systems

  • General knowledge of payroll tax, labor law, and HR compliance regulations

  • Experience leading payroll system implementations or transformation projects is highly valued

  • Fluency in Spanish and English is required; Portuguese is a strong plus
