Join Our Team as an HR Admin at Epiroc!

The HR Admin plays a critical role in supporting the Human Resources function by ensuring accurate documentation, efficient HR processes, and a high level of employee support and engagement. This position manages a wide range of administrative responsibilities, including recruiting coordination, file management, employee communications, HR systems support, and plant-floor employee services.

 

Work Type: This position will be based onsite at our Milwaukie, OR facility. This job opening is not eligible for immigration/work visa sponsorship. 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the HireRight background check process, including initiating screenings, collecting documentation, and communicating with candidates
  • Coordinate hourly recruiting activities, including interview scheduling, candidate communication, and logistics
  • Support onboarding processes, including Dayforce account setup, new hire orientation, and documentation tracking
  • Maintain employee training records, including sign-offs, cross-training matrices, and SOP documentation
  • Organize and upload personnel files (e.g., onboarding documents, background checks, corrective actions, promotions) to ensure compliance and accessibility
  • Maintain accurate HRIS records (Dayforce/HR Link) and assist employees with system access and troubleshooting
  • Draft and distribute internal communications to plant employees
  • Support employee engagement initiatives on the plant floor, including idea generation, communication, and vendor coordination
  • Serve as a point of contact for general employee inquiries and HR assistance
  • Assist with employee programs, events, and recognition initiatives
  • Perform additional duties as needed

 

The compensation for this position is between $27.00 -  $32.00 hourly, depending on experience and qualifications. This range reflects our commitment to fair pay based on skills, experience, and market standards. 

 

Knowledge/Education:

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • An associate's or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred
  • Minimum 1 year of HR or administrative support experience required

 

Skills and Abilities:

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Effective communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to collaborate across departments and build relationships at all levels
  • Problem-solving mindset with a focus on continuous improvement
  • Adaptable, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.); experience with HRIS systems (e.g., Dayforce) preferred
  • Experience with Smartsheet and/or ERP/MRP systems is a plus
