Join Our Team as a Business Systems Manager at Epiroc!

The Business Systems Manager is responsible for enabling a connected, standardized, and data-driven operational environment across the PC network. This role drives the integration, optimization, and adoption of ERP and business systems to improve manufacturing performance, decision-making, and scalability.

 

This position is a critical enabler for the organization, focused on unlocking the full value of our ERP and digital systems. The role ensures systems actively support manufacturing processes and teams—reducing complexity, eliminating workarounds, and improving efficiency. Through data and system insights, the role identifies step-change improvement opportunities and translates them into targeted actions aligned with business priorities and objectives and key results (OKRs)

 

Work Type - This is a hybrid position open to candidates located in the United States. This role is not eligible for immigration or work visa sponsorship.

 

Responsibilities:

ERP & Systems Integration

  • Own and drive ERP implementation, integration, and continuous improvement across the network
  • Ensure business processes are standardized, mapped, and aligned prior to system deployment
  • Enable seamless system connectivity across Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, and other key functions
  • Ensure system stability, data integrity, and post go-live optimization

 

Connected Factory & Digital Enablement

  • Lead the development of connected factory capabilities, enabling real-time visibility into production and operational performance
  • Drive integration of AI, BI, and digital tools to enhance operational insight and responsiveness
  • Ensure systems support end-to-end workflows across functions

 

 User Adoption & Capability Building

  • Drive adoption of systems and tools across all PCs, ensuring consistent and effective usage
  • Develop and lead training programs for Business Key Users (BKUs) and end users
  • Build internal capability and ownership of systems within the business

 

 Data, BI & Decision Enablement

  • Establish and enable standardized reporting, dashboards, and data visibility across the network
  • Ensure data accuracy, governance, and accessibility to support decision-making
  • Translate data insights into actionable recommendations that drive operational improvements

 

Operational Performance & Production Systems

  • Enable measurable improvements in Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), schedule attainment, and utilization
  • Support automated lead times and production planning capabilities
  • Improve order fulfillment performance, including cycle time and on-time delivery
  • Develop and implement production system tools that drive consistency and efficiency

 

 Process Standardization & Continuous Improvement

  • Standardize key business and operational processes across all PCs
  • Identify and eliminate inefficiencies, manual processes, and variability
  • Support Make vs. Buy decisions using structured evaluation frameworks
  • Ensure alignment of processes with business growth and operational objectives

 

 Innovation & AI Enablement

  • Identify and implement AI and digital solutions to reduce manual work and enhance performance
  • Drive continuous innovation in systems and processes
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend practical business applications

 

Scope & Impact

  • Impacts all Product Companies (PCs) within the Business Line
  • Drives cross-functional alignment across Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, Engineering, and IT
  • Direct influence on operational efficiency, productivity, and scalability
  • Enables data-driven decision-making and performance improvement across the network

 

Knowledge/Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field
  • 5–10+ years of experience in operations, systems, or digital transformation
  • Experience with ERP systems (e.g., M3, SAP, Oracle, or similar)
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing operations and production systems
  • Experience with BI and data analytics tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)
