Join our team

You will join a highly skilled and collaborative global team that works at the intersection of software engineering, cybersecurity, cloud platforms, automation, and developer experience. We value curiosity, continuous learning, ownership, and a passion for improving how software is built. If you're excited by modern DevSecOps practices, platform engineering, and helping developers succeed, you will play a key role in shaping the future of secure software development at Epiroc.

Your mission

As a Global DevSecOps Engineer, you will help shape the future of software development at Epiroc. You will collaborate with developers, architects, cybersecurity specialists, and platform teams to continuously improve our development ecosystem and strengthen our DevSecOps capabilities across the company. Our team supports and governs platforms such as GitHub Enterprise, Azure DevOps, developer workplace solutions, and software security initiatives that impact development teams globally.

In this role, you will:

  • Drive and improve DevSecOps practices, standards, and automation across Epiroc such as implementation of Hardware Security Module using code signing certificates.
  • Support development teams in adopting secure software development processes and modern engineering practices.
  • Develop and maintain security capabilities within our development platforms, including CI/CD pipelines, code scanning, dependency management, and supply chain security using our development tool chain (GitHub and Azure DevOps).
  • Help improve the Developer workplace (DevX) initiative bringing in more robust security perspective on Epiroc IT solutions.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across IT, cybersecurity, and R&D to identify opportunities for improvement and innovation.

Your profile

We are looking for an individual with a curious and proactive mindset. Motivated by solving complex challenges together with others. You have a strong security mindset but understand that successful DevSecOps is about enabling developers, not creating obstacles.

We believe you bring:

  • Solid experience working with DevOps or DevSecOps in a complex enterprise environment.
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD platforms, automation, and secure development practices.
  • The ability to balance security, usability, and developer productivity (DevX) when designing solutions.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to build relationships across technical and non-technical teams.
