Your team

 

The Risk Management & Insurance function is a part of the Epiroc Group Legal which also includes Legal Affairs and Group Compliance. You will report to the Epiroc SVP General Counsel and daily work closely with the Group Risk Management and Insurance Manager in Sweden and the Risk and Insurance Manager in Australia.

 

Your mission

 

In this role, you will support the different functions and businesses at Epiroc with an extensive range of risk- and insurance-related activities. You will be working closely with internal stakeholders, the companies within the Epiroc Group, as well as external parties e.g. insurance brokers, risk engineers and underwriters.

 

Key responsibilities:

  • Leading the Epiroc Loss Prevention program
  • Procurement and Engagement of Insurance Broker/-s
  • Participating in Enterprise Risk Management activities
  • Setting the Group Insurance Strategy and annual plan
  • Secure that adequate insurance coverages are placed in adherence with Epiroc Group Insurance Policy
  • M&A activities for due diligence and integration
  • Managing the company´s captive solution
  • Supporting the organization on claims management
  • Ensuring an efficient process and coordination between Group Risk Management and Insurance, insurance providers and group companies, functions and business units

 

Your profile

 

To succeed in this role, you need outstanding negotiation and problem-solving skills, the ability to perform well under pressure, a pragmatic mindset, and strong project leadership capabilities. As a person, you are a team player, a self-starter, structured and goal oriented. Great communication skills together with a high level of integrity are required.

 

Other requirements:

  • Relevant academic education
  • Excellent English written and oral skills, in addition to fluency in Swedish (oral and written)
  • 15+ years working experience within the insurance industry, preferably in an international manufacturing company
  • Previous leadership experience
  • Comprehensive insurance knowledge within property, business interruption, liability, financial lines and marine cargo. Knowledge within cyber and M&A is a plus
  • Strong knowledge and relations within the insurance industry
  • Experience of managing captive solutions

 

Location and travel

 

This position is based at the Epiroc Head office in Sickla, Sweden. Occasional travel is required.
