We are looking for a President to lead Epiroc’s Parts & Services Division in the EMEA region.

 

 

The mission

 

Your overall Mission as President of the Parts & Services division EMEA will be to take full responsibility for the consolidated operations in the EMEA region. You will lead product companies as well as customer centers to deliver outstanding customer support and be a true partner to our customers. Your teams will be efficient and implement the strategic directions of the group for successful long-term development in the region.

 

The mission includes growing our aftermarket to our full potential within core and adjacent to core. The initiatives should focus on growing our overall customer share, achieved by a continuous stream of new innovative new service products launched in a fast and planned manner.

 

Our capabilities related to service contracts, service workshops, spare part availability, on site support should be world class and be prepared for industrializing the new technologies that Epiroc is putting on the market, digitalization, electrification, and automation. Your structure shall support Epiroc teams working for the life of the mine along side our customers, and deliver true value of our solutions as they are brought to site.

 

 

 

Key responsibilities

 

  • Ensure that everything we do in the region results in every team member going home safe and healthy everyday
  • Implement the customer centric perspective and prepare for the digital journey
  • Secure partnerships at the highest levels in our key customers
  • Growing share of wallet on Key Spare Parts
  • Expanding our remanufacturing capabilities and services
  • Increasing our sourcing capability in the region, looking for local sourcing for non- critical parts
  • Growth and increased customer stickiness through branding and making commercial parts proprietary.
  • Pushing digitalization and develop condition-based maintenance offering
  • Developing e-Commerce to capture share  
  • Facilitate the flow of talent between China and the Chinese customers and contractors in the region (Sales, Service, and Supply chain professionals)

In this position, you will report to Business Area President Equipment & Service, Jess Kindler.

 

 

Experience and requirements

 

  • Proven leadership results, and international experience in a variety of product lines and geographies
  • Ideally experience from operations in a Product Company as well as sales and marketing from a Customer Center
  • Proven communication, strategy skills, and great collaboration
  • Clear long-term vision with the ability to achieve results through others.
  • University degree - technically and/or commercially. He/she should be fluent in English. A good command of other languages would be seen as an asset.  Experience in Mining and surface and underground applications is paramount.

You are highly driven and strongly customer-oriented, with an entrepreneurial mindset and the ability to energize people – to create high-performing and agile teams that make things happen. You are willing to travel extensively and can manage a heavy workload at times. 

 

 

 

Location

 

Preferably Africa, close to a major international airport
