Product Owner Infrastructure Operations - Epiroc IT

The Infrastructure unit at Epiroc IT, is responsible for the global planning and delivery of hosting environments (cloud and on-prem), connectivity (WAN, LAN, cloud) and desktop environments for the modern workplace. We operate the IT environment for the global Epiroc and we have users in 150 countries.

Your mission
We seek a person with a strong competence to analyze and structure operations. You understand what is being operated and you see the opportunities for improvement in how we do things. You will work with many stakeholders, and you need to be comfortable and skilled to work virtually across organizations and teams. We strive for continuous improvement and this role will be expected to work with measurement and KPIs. We are looking for you who are interested in being an important person in our development journey within operations. We are an international organization, and the corporate language is English.

Main Responsibilities:

•    Participate in stating the vision for our operational work.
•    Lead the work towards common, cross-functional Infrastructure operations. 
•    Identify suitable measurements and KPIs leading us towards our target vison 
•    Participate in planning for the next steps in the evolution of the IT operations beyond the Infrastructure unit.
•    Define cross-functional processes and ways of working within
•    Work with continuous improvements to secure operational excellence 

Your profile 
You have at least 5 years of experience from leading teams, projects or organizations in an IT-environment or technical development environment. You lead by listening, analyzing and driving. To accomplish results, your communication skills, your ability to organize and structure are key attributes in your skillset. You thrive from running several activities in parallel having good use of your strong stakeholder management skills. 

You strive for proactive ways of working as the general rule, with a good understanding of the reactive nature of operations work. You have experience from working in complex, cross-functional, local and global environments and you are creative in finding solutions to the variety of problems you will encounter. Our corporate language is English, and you are expected to work fluently in English in written and in speaking.

As a person one of your main motivation factors is to accomplish results. You have perseverance and ability to take projects from start to finish, also when encountering obstacles or delays. You have a positive attitude and with your collaborative mindset you have the ability to get people to work efficiently towards common goals. You see feedback given and received as a useful tool to personal growth. You have interest and basic understanding for the technical IT Infrastructure landscape and willingness to learn what you do not have previous experience from.

Safety first is a fundamental value for Epiroc, as a Product Owner it is important that this value resonates with you. In addition, you need:
•    Documented experience from working in Network Operation Center (NOC) or equivalent.
•    Experience of managing cost and budget
•    Experience of and good ability to define and establish processes and work routines
•    Experience from telecom operations is a plus
•    Bachelor’s degree or equivalent working experience 
•    Knowledge of ITIL is a preferred competence.

Location and travel
This position is located in Stockholm or Örebro, Sweden. Occasional travel is required.
