JOB DESCRIPTION –SERVICE SPECIALIST

Job Title

Service Specialist

Reports To

Service Specialist report directly to Regional Parts and Service Manager (RPSM) of that region. He will also report to National Service Manager and Contract Manager wherever requirement of assigned job demands.

Job Overview

 

Responsible for the complete service activities of Epiroc CC in the assigned territory and supports the installed fleet to the satisfaction of customers, while ensuring Epiroc guidelines are strictly followed. Also, to ensure the given business targets of organisation are achieved.

 

The incumbent shall be responsible for the complete project’s Parts & Service activities of Epiroc India CC in the assigned territory and supports the installed fleet to the satisfaction of customers, while ensuring Epiroc guidelines are strictly followed.

 

Also, to ensure the given KPI’s targets of organisation are achieved time to time.

 

Responsibilities

 

  • Overall responsible for the project assigned and related to its’ all activities and contractual KPI’s and obligations.

 

  • Instrumental in establishing new autonomous technology for SD drill in India.

 

  • Ensure equipment commissioning, warranty support, availability etc.

 

  • Timely reporting of warranty complaints and product quality related issues and work together with Central Service team.

 

  • Special focus on ensuring Customers’ satisfaction for the project.

 

  • Handling of project service manpower (external and internal roll) and successfully lead Service Agreement.

 

  • Supporting RPSM in setting Business for parts and service revenues.

  • Forward customer feedback and any leads on new equipment requirements to Marketing Team

 

  • Support Business Partner with suggested stocking guides as per Machine utilisation

  • Support in promotion of Equipment / component rebuilds.

 

  • Coordinate with Customer Support Officer on support issues like parts quotation, invoicing, deliveries, or outstanding payments.

 

  • Track Equipment utilization and ensure committed KPI’s as per Customer PO are achieved.

 

  • Guide Business Partner engineers to solve technical problems. Keep them updated with relevant technical information.

 

  • Monitor complaint registers of Business Partners and ensure timely restoration of equipment is executed

Other Responsibilities

 

  • Strictly following Safety guidelines.
  • Identification of Environmental aspects and OH&S hazards and related operational controls.
  • Ensure operation controls related to Health, Safety & Environment.
  • Reporting of SHE incidences and its analysis.

 

Compliance with Corporate Guidelines


 

  • Follow in letter and spirit the Epiroc, Vision, Mission and Core values.
  • Comply with the Epiroc Business Code of Conduct.
  • Comply with the policies and procedures communicated from time to time.
  • Perform any other tasks given by supervisor from time to time.

 

 

Qualifications

  • Degree or Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical or Electronics Engineering
  • 6-8 Years relevant Job Experience.
  • Technical Level 1 & Technical Level 2 Certified.
  • Knowledge on RCS, LAN and Networking will be added advantage.
