Mission of the Role

 

  • Ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operation of Epiroc equipment including rigs, loaders, and trucks.
  • Deliver high-quality maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair services to minimize equipment downtime.
  • Support customers in achieving optimal drilling and operational performance through prompt and effective service.

 

Your Mission: 

 

  • Troubleshoot and diagnose faults across mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, pneumatic, and control systems efficiently using your strong technical expertise.
  • Perform comprehensive equipment inspections utilizing the Epiroc Rig Scan Auditing tool and submit timely, detailed reports to customers and internal service administration.
  • Lead commissioning and functional testing of new equipment while providing hands-on maintenance and operation training to customers during these phases.
  • Minimize downtime by quickly repairing equipment and proactively recommending improvements.
  • Ensure all maintenance activities comply strictly with Epiroc’s safety regulations, site procedures, and industry standards.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of service activities, including detailed reports and parts usage for tracking and continuous improvement purposes.
  • Provide expert technical support and guidance to customers and onsite personnel, fostering strong relationships and customer satisfaction.
  • Conduct root cause analysis to identify underlying issues, propose corrective actions, and recommend opportunities for process and equipment improvements.
  • Support installations, equipment upgrades, and modifications in collaboration with cross-functional teams when required.

 

Your Profile:

 

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar maintenance role within mechanical, electrical, or hydraulic systems.
  • Diploma or Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or a related technical discipline.
  • Expertise in troubleshooting complex technical issues and fault-finding across multiple systems.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical and schematic drawings as well as manuals.
  • Strong safety awareness with excellent risk assessment capabilities to maintain safe work environments.
  • Effective communication and customer service skills to interact professionally with diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently in field environments, managing time efficiently and solving problems proactively.
