The main responsibilities of the position are as the below:
- Be overall responsible for required group reports / local statutory reports / other local statistical reports, including G/L postings
- Prepare monthly accounting schedules, reconcile and review open items to ensure a healthy balance sheet
- Handle the full monthly tax package calculation, filing and declaration to compliance with PRC tax regulations, including applications for export VAT tax refunds
- Complete annual corporate income tax filings, and assist with transfer pricing documentation and other annual tax-related reports
- Act as the primary liaison to build and maintain good relations with tax authorities; coordinate with external consultants, agencies and auditors on tax reporting and compliance
- Conduct fixed asset accounting and reporting in accordance with both IFRS and PRC GAAP
- Ensure timely and accurate daily posting of supplier invoices, and follow up on unposted invoices promptly
- Reconcile account payable balances with intercompany and external suppliers, investigate unreconciled invoices, take follow-up actions
- Act as super user of ERP system and validate financial result
- Be valuable advisor to managers to support him/her for continuing process improvement and internal control enhancement
- Be coordinator to all internal / external audit / tax inspections
- Safeguard accounting document archiving
- Support managers for all the related hot issues and follow up the actions & solutions
- Strictly abide by safety production regulations and operating procedures
Competences, skills and experience
- At least 4-year experience in accounting or reporting area, 2-year worked as GL accountant is preferred
- Good understanding of both Chinese Accounting Regulations and International Accounting Standard
- Work experience of ERP system (SAP, M3 and/or other ERP system)
Behaviors:
