CBM Engineer

This position mainly improves product quality through full-cycle condition monitoring, fault diagnosis, and predictive maintenance of core production equipment in open-pit and underground mines. By applying professional CBM technologies including vibration analysis, lubricant oil analysis, infrared thermography and ultrasonic testing, this role identifies potential equipment faults in advance, eliminates hidden dangers of unplanned shutdowns, improves the product quality, and ensures safe, stable and efficient operation of mine production equipment.
1. Responsible for carrying out CBM condition monitoring of mining equipment, covering key components such as hydraulic pumps, hydraulic motors, motors, rotary heads, and drilling rigs.
2. Implement comprehensive condition monitoring technologies: precision vibration analysis, lubricant oil sampling and analysis, infrared thermography temperature detection, ultrasonic fault testing, electrical equipment health diagnosis and equipment trend monitoring.
3. Collect on-site operating data of mining equipment, analyze vibration spectrum, waveform, temperature change trend and oil wear debris & pollution data; accurately judge common faults such as bearing abrasion, mechanical looseness, shaft misalignment, rotor unbalance, gear failure and lubrication deterioration.
4. Be responsible for the installation, calibration, debugging of mine CBM sensors, portable data acquisition instruments and online equipment condition monitoring systems to ensure stable and accurate data acquisition.
5. Independently compile equipment condition inspection reports, professional fault diagnosis reports and targeted predictive maintenance suggestions; track the implementation of maintenance rectification, verify repair effects, and form closed-loop management of equipment faults.
6. Collaborate with the R&D team, production, and electrical team to improve design, production, and other processes through problems identified by CBM, enhancing product quality.
7. Carry out RCA root cause analysis for major equipment downtime and high-frequency recurrent faults in mines, sort out fault mechanisms and patterns, formulate practical improvement suggestions, and prepare spare parts inventory plans to reduce downtime.
1. Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mining Engineering, Mechatronic Engineering or related majors.
2. More than 3 years of working experience in CBM condition monitoring and predictive maintenance for coal mines or metal mines, with independent on-site diagnosis experience.
3. proficient in oil analysis, infrared thermography and ultrasonic testing technologies.
4. Rigorous and meticulous at work, strong data analysis and problem-solving abilities, with good team communication and coordination skills.
5. Skilled in operating mainstream CBM inspection instruments and professional analysis software, capable of independent spectrum analysis, trend judgment and accurate fault location.
