CES Specialist - Join Epiroc in Nanjing

As a CES Specialist within Epiroc's PSD Regional Marketing team, you will play a pivotal role as the main driver of the CES business from the HUB perspective. Your efforts will directly contribute to delivering safe, profitable, and innovative solutions, enhancing customer satisfaction and strengthening Epiroc’s market position in the underground equipment industry.

About the Role

In this dynamic position, you will work closely with Customer Centers to understand evolving customer needs, coordinate upgrades and rebuilds of equipment where Epiroc’s core products could be applied, as well as identify opportunities where Epiroc solutions – including Tunnel Boring Machines (TBM) – add exceptional value to our customers. Acting as the case owner inside PSD, you will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of solutions that meet technical requirements, pricing expectations, and delivery schedules.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate intensively with Customer Centers (CCs) to identify customer needs, define the potential for CES and Midlife business, and work towards achieving set business targets.
  • Engage directly with customers to understand demands and translate those needs into tailored technical solutions.
  • Effectively manage the workflow of Pre-MO and MO projects ensuring that the appropriate resources are engaged and deliverables are met.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams including PSD engineers, Capital R&D, planners, sourcing teams, and others to provide comprehensive technical solutions, accurate pricing, and reliable lead-time estimations.
  • Lead and continuously enhance the On-Time Delivery (OTD) process by developing dashboards to monitor MO progress, organizing meetings to address outstanding issues, and proactively coordinating with all relevant procedures such as planning, warehouse operations, and logistics.
  • Ensure compliance and efficiency of the Distribution Center (DC) processes including export and import operations, supporting robust financial statements.

You are an experienced professional with a strong technical background and an aptitude for customer-centric solutions. You bring a combination of technical expertise, industry knowledge, and collaborative spirit that enables you to thrive in a complex environment.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • In-depth knowledge of Epiroc fleets, diverse industrial applications, and the capability to analyze complex technical data effectively.
  • Exceptional communication skills to liaise effectively with end customers, customer centers, and internal teams ensuring smooth information flow.
  • Proven experience and understanding of the mining and construction equipment industry, including awareness of competitors, customer requirements, and application-specific nuances.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a technical, engineering, or service-related role, demonstrating hands-on technical competence.
  • Experience in marketing and sales is advantageous, enriching your approach to customer engagement and business development.
  • Fluency in English with excellent listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills to communicate confidently across global teams and clients.
