Mission
Your mission is to gather feedback from end customers and distributors regarding equipment requirements and improvements, incorporate strengths from competitors, propose equipment enhancements, and collaborate with the R&D team to enhance operational efficiency and stability of the equipment. By championing the customer voice within R&D, you will ensure that every CPI cycle is driven by frontline insights to deliver maximum product value faster, while proactively building the capabilities to translate this continuous value delivery into a sustainable, customer-centric upgrade revenue model.
Job Responsibilities:
General:
- Coordinate all technical questions regarding the GIA product, secure proper risk handling in ongoing activities
- Participate in relevant meetings with the objective of taking a leading role ensuring that both PC ZJK & GIA CC effectively find optimal compromises using a fully holistic and customer centric approach.
- Coordinate –and when applicable initiate relevant tests related to ongoing activities. Cooperate with –and support other roles involved in testing activities e.g. Design Area Responsible, Technical Service Engineers. Always monitor & promote safety at testing.

Legal
- Responsible for overall health and safety and applicable legal product requirements e.g. by managing the environmental- and safety- reviews/ inspections on the product
- Responsible for verifying that all requested documents are available in the Technical File for new, present and phased out products
- Responsible for promptly informing the Products R&D Manager and were applicable also the Team Leader Products R&D if potential Products Safety issues occur.
Overall product specification and characteristics
- Work continuously to improve and safeguard the Product reliability both on present Products and in projects.
- Establish and take ownership of an effective reliability KPI for your product/s.
- Track and analyze the actual trend of performance and reliability level during operation in different applications and conditions (e.g. normal, abuse, remote, autonomous)
- Support in annual target setting in CPI as well as in NPD projects
Customer needs and application knowledge
- Understand and work for fulfillment of Customer needs in different applications
- Act as cross-functional case holder for large or complex CPI cases when suitable (e.g. Product safety cases, Functional Development cases or Customer Specials)
Product improvements and documentation
- Initiate and/or secure needed changes and improvements of the product
- Be the owner of the CPI list for concerned Products and secure that:
- All CPI cases relating to your Product (incl. all Product Safety cases) shall be properly documented and continuously kept up-to date in the CPI Priority tool.
- Follow up that CPI targets are being met and propose actions if needed.
Improve the Product quality and Value Creation Through CPI
- Drive CPI to enhance quality, boost productivity, reduce production costs (PK), and strengthen safety measures. Actively learn from customer feedback, competitor benchmarks, and partner collaborations to inform improvement initiatives.
- Create new sales opportunities by upgrading CPI kits for existing fleets and optional feature kits for new models, enabling performance enhancements and added value for customers.
- Work together front line, R&D, and PC to accelerate CPI implementation, increase its scope, and deliver measurable value — including reduced warranty costs, minimized machine downtime, lower TCO, overall cost savings, and improved OI from upgrade and option kits.
Experience Requirements:
– 10+ Experience in equipment R&D.
– Major in Mechanical Engineering, electro-hydraulic control or electrical automation background is referred.
– Excellent communication skills.
