District Channel Manager - Epiroc, Nanjing, China

Join Epiroc's Rock Drilling Tools Division as a District Channel Manager, playing a pivotal role within our Mining and Rock Excavation business area based at our Nanjing Huizhi location. This position offers a unique opportunity to lead channel development efforts, enhance distributor management, and contribute to the growth and success of our company and partners in a dynamic and evolving industry.

About the Role

As a District Channel Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategic initiatives to expand and strengthen our distributor network. You will collaborate closely with distributors in your assigned region to manage sales processes, product portfolios, and service lifecycles. Your role will directly impact customer satisfaction, market share growth, and the overall competitiveness of Epiroc's solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement comprehensive channel development strategies aimed at expanding the distributor network while enhancing management practices including performance evaluation, support, and operational supervision.
  • Manage distributor relationships within your region with a focus on optimizing sales lifecycle processes such as identifying opportunities, order management, inventory control, accounts receivable, and loss reporting.
  • Support distributors in the effective handling of the complete product portfolio, encompassing equipment, parts, drilling tools, digital solutions, and attachments.
  • Guide distributors through the full service lifecycle including training, certification, commissioning, after-sales services, warranty claims, inspections, maintenance, overhauls, as well as used equipment sales and leasing.
  • Drive customer satisfaction through proactive engagement including regular follow-ups, satisfaction surveys, loyalty enhancement, and maintaining a robust 1:1 coverage ratio for drill rigs and consumables.
  • Collaborate with product teams to provide valuable feedback on product quality, identify areas for technological improvement, and contribute insights related to safety, energy efficiency, emissions reduction, and competitive benchmarking.
  • Work in tandem with the Business Development Manager to develop and execute effective sales strategies that increase market penetration and enhance customer share for GIA products.
  • Ensure all distributor collaborations comply fully with company policies, including the Epiroc Code of Conduct and compliance standards.
  • Undertake additional tasks as assigned by management to support business goals.

Candidate Profile

Ideal candidates will possess a college degree or higher with a background in marketing, mechanical engineering, or related fields. In addition, candidates should demonstrate:

  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation capabilities to build and maintain effective partnerships.
