Mission

The mission for this position is designing the electrical system for the underground product line to meet the project KPIs and maintaining the product in serial production to meet the quality, OTD, and cost reduction targets.

Specific Areas of Responsibility

As an electrical engineer, you will have following responsibilities:

Electrical system design for new product development including 380v/1000v power supply system, 24V control system and PLC programming.
Electrical system design for product upgrade driven by regulations such as engine upgrade, and upgrade to meet KA and CE requirements.
Create and maintain bill of material for the product and sub-assemblies.
Maintaining and continuous improving of electrical systems for existing products.
Localization of electrical components to reach cost reduction target without compromise the original quality requirement.
Support sourcing on finding right supplier, support on solving production workshop issue and aftermarket field issue when needed.
Write testing protocol for new developed electrical systems, and support on function test and field test.

Knowledge / Educational requirements

BSc. in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.

Competence requirements

Strong technical knowledge of electrical power supply and control systems
Knowledge and experience of Codesys and other platform of PLC programming.
Knowledge of CANopen and J1939.
3D/2D design and draft ability for components and system schematics.
Knowledge and experience of teamcenter is a plus.
Knowledge of relevant national and international regulations and standards regarding electrics and underground mining equipment is a plus.
Experience and knowledge in construction machinery preferably in mining.
Willing to travel to rough working conditions such as underground mines and construction sites
Good command of English is required or strong ambition to learn.
