Export Specialist

Job Mission

Perform a range of activities to facilitate highly efficient/security export delivery and other related for increasing customer satisfaction, this must be followed the company policies as stated in the Epiroc way, including the Code of Conduct and Compliance issues, Customs and other Chinese governments regulations if applicable.

Job Description:

1. As a main interface for LC handling through cross-functional collaborations and communications, including below tasks,

• Pre-communication and checking for Letter of Credit draft through close cooperation with our customer centers, marketing department, production and external companies;
• Collecting full comments and feedback to Customer so Letter of Credit could be issued efficiently;
• Keep communicating with Customer till formal Letter of Credit is issued;
• When formal Letter of Credit arrive, arrange transportation accordingly; Also prepare documentations which are required by Letter of Credit;
• Submit all docs to bank for further verification for avoiding foreign exchange risk;
• Meanwhile, all above information / progress need to be updated in Multibank system timely and accurately;

2. Keeping proactive communications with oversea customers for getting full and correct shipping instruction before export products are ready for delivery.
3. Coordinate internal planner, forwarder, oversea customer and other relative functions, arrange shipment outbound issues including request for quotation, freight price negotiation, booking, package, and so on.
4. Prepare customs declarations docs and monitor declaration process.  Also need to provide other necessary shipping documents which should comply with all export compliance and meet customer’s needs.
5. Keep close tracking on Export shipment status and update the latest transportation information, communicate with relative parties timely until goods arrived at destination point timely and directly.
6. Total responsibility for duty bonded booking handling, and monitor duty bonded warehouse management, organize regular meeting or training in regards to duty bonded knowledge.
7. Logistic payment should be managed very well, effectively checking, paying correctly and timely;
8. Deal and manage the third logistic provider including customs broker, freight forwarder and others.
9. Improve handling efficiency and optimize export process through continuous analysis, etc.
10. Other duties assigned.

Experience Requirements;

1. Minimum 5years experience in similar functions, have duty bonded book handling experience will be preferable;
2. Excellent knowledge with China Customs regulation, international trade, etc;
3. Good knowledge of transportation management and international logistics;
4. Good experience of Letter of Credit  is preferable;
5. Familiar with computer skills such as MS office, Power Point, M3 system;

Knowledge / Educational Requirements:

1. Bachelor degree or above, logistic or international trade will be preferable;
2. Fluent in oral and written English;
3. Knowledge about our products and parts assortments is preferable;
