Mission

This position is responsible for the design and development of components and new products to meet customer and market needs.

Specific Areas of Responsibility

• Develop new components and products using CAD system.

• Handles engineering change requests (ECR’s) by modifying current product design.

• Analyzes the field problem reports and develops solutions to rectify the problem.

• Participate in a cross-functional team to develop new products.

• Develops engineering documentation.
• Develop special designs to meet special customer requests and provide essential supporting calculations.
• Prepare Bills of Material (BOM) and provide purchasing department with product specifications.
• Interface with shop personnel during fabrication and testing to ensure product compliance with design formation and delivery requirements.

Hiring Qualification

Education: B.S. in Mechanical Engineering

Skills / Knowledge / Experience:

• 3-5 years’ work experience of mechanical design in heavy machinery field, prefer to mining or drilling machinery experience.
• Proficiency with Creo solid modeling. Must demonstrate good modeling, drafting and large assembling skills with Creo.
• Requires excellent interpersonal and communication skills

• Must be a team player - open-minded and flexible
• Must have the ability to manage multi-tasks, carry out root cause analysis, and deal with internal and external customers. Must have excellent problem-solving skills.
• Experience with mobile construction equipment.
• PC literacy (MS office)
• Must be fluent in Chinese and English.
