About the Role
As a Mechanical Engineer, you will lead initiatives to create and optimize after-market spare parts for capital products, prepare IQ templates, and develop alternative solutions that meet diverse customer requirements. Collaborating closely with colleagues across PSD, you will contribute both as an individual engineer and as a project leader in capital and development projects, helping enhance product performance and adaptability.
Key Responsibilities
- Champion a customer satisfaction-driven culture within the engineering department, embedding continuous improvement and innovation.
- Engage actively in capital projects and PSD development initiatives to elevate product reliability and serviceability.
- Develop and refine research and development processes to align with strategic objectives and boost operational efficiency.
- Coordinate and provide technical guidance to CMTEC India, managing task assignments and progress monitoring.
- Approve change notices related to PSD-responsible articles, ensuring adherence to quality and regulatory standards.
- Analyze new components from sub-suppliers to determine detailed spare parts breakdowns that optimize inventory management.
- Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams—including marketing, service, and R&D—to define spare parts levels and create kits aligned with market needs.
- Design localization strategies and alternative part solutions to promote business growth across diverse markets.
- Create comprehensive IQ templates facilitating effective capital division operations and streamlined product integration.
- Provide expert technical support across various hubs such as marketing, technical documentation, technical service, training, strategic purchasing, and import/export functions to ensure cohesive product lifecycle management.
