Mission:

The Operations developer is responsible for identifying operational inefficiencies and leading improvement initiatives across logistics & production and all related functions and processes. The role focuses on connecting people, processes, and data to drive measurable performance improvements while promoting a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence. 

Main tasks and responsibilities:

1.    Process sorting and optimization
    Support the manager in KPIs/OKRs deployment, aligning logistics & production strategies with global footprint, local capabilities, circularity and sustainability goals.
    Identify inefficiencies in logistics, production, administrative and support processes; drive process improvement to enhance functional efficiency and effectiveness.
    Simplify process and communication complexity, standardize best practices into implementable standards, and supervise process execution to correct deviations timely.

2.    Operational collaboration and Support
    Promote logistics & production collaboration, coordinate and resolve operational issues (process, capability, resource, priority, etc.) to ensure smooth production execution.
    Develop short-term and long-term team capability development plans to build a disciplined, adaptable and agile team that meets business needs.
    Facilitate cross-team collaboration to ensure alignment with organizational goals.

3.    Assistance and execution:
    Assist the manager in daily work, including sorting out operational needs, tracking work progress and conducting cross-departmental communication and coordination.
    Support the establishment of team governance frameworks, management control tools and performance monitoring systems; analyze KPIs/OKRs and operational data to evaluate process performance and identify trends and recurring issues.
    Cooperate with the manager to implement work arrangements, support the daily efficient operation of the logistics & production team, including evaluating new investments, technologies and tools, and conducting pre-studies, implementation and commissioning.
    Support management projects with ad-hoc data analysis, execution follow-up, communication facilitation and professional advice.
    Complete other tasks assigned by the manager.

Competences, skills and experience:

1.    Bachelor's degree or above, majoring in Engineering / Engineering Management or related fields.
2.    More than 3 years of relevant work experience in discrete equipment industry, preferably in operational roles.
3.    Strong data analysis capabilities and sensitivity to cost efficiency, with the ability to get to the core through analysis and the courage to take actions to change the status quo.
4.    Proficiency in Excel Automation, Query, Data Processing, VBA, Python, BI tools and low-code platforms such as Power Apps and WeCom for building paperless automation tools and optimizing workflows is preferred.
5.    Ability to develop Initiatives and propose practical solutions.
6.    Excellent presentation and facilitation skills.
7.    Strong interpersonal, teamwork and motivational skills
8.    Proficient in listening, speaking, reading and writing in English with excellent communication and coaching skills
