About the Role
As a Project Manager within our EES China department, your mission is to ensure the seamless execution of projects from initiation through to successful completion. You will lead multidisciplinary teams, manage diverse stakeholders, and take full ownership of project delivery, ensuring all objectives are met on time, within scope, and budget.
Main Responsibilities
- Lead and deliver electrification projects strictly following the EES project delivery model, ensuring high standards and alignment with company goals.
- Maintain ultimate accountability for project outcomes under the Project Management Office (PMO) framework by driving timelines, budgets, and key deliverables.
- Collaborate proactively with engineering management to resolve challenges, optimize processes, and strengthen interdepartmental interfaces.
- Create and manage comprehensive project plans detailing tasks, schedules, resource allocation, and budgeting requirements.
- Coordinate and motivate team members and stakeholders to promote communication and effective collaboration throughout the project lifecycle.
- Oversee execution phases, ensuring all workstreams progress as scheduled and within defined budget limits.
- Monitor project performance using robust tracking approaches; identify risks early and apply corrective measures swiftly.
- Implement stringent quality assurance protocols to guarantee that all deliverables meet or exceed quality specifications.
- Engage with internal and external stakeholders regularly to provide transparent status updates and manage expectations appropriately.
- Facilitate proper project closure activities, including final deliverable validation, project evaluations, lessons learned documentation, and comprehensive reporting.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Project Management, or related fields—additional relevant academic backgrounds will be considered.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent credential is preferred, demonstrating robust project management expertise.
- A minimum of 5 years successfully managing complex, multidisciplinary projects from concept through product delivery.
- Proven leadership skills with a track record of delivering projects on time, within budget, and meeting quality standards.
- Sound knowledge of project management methodologies including Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid approaches.
- Proficiency in project management software tools such as Microsoft Project, JIRA, Asana, and Trello, enabling efficient project tracking and team collaboration.
- Experience within electrification projects or the mining equipment sector is a distinct advantage.
- Strong communication skills in both English and Chinese, capable of navigating multicultural environments effectively.
