Job Mission
The Regional Key Account Manager for East & Central Africa will be responsible for securing and growing the sales of capital equipment to key Chinese mining customers in the region, by working together with CC China team and Receiving Customer Centers (RCC) in the region. The ideal candidate will act as the primary liaison between the CC China and RCCs, to ensure seamless service delivery, customer satisfaction, and long-term partnership growth with the key Chinese customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute key account sales plans for Chinese mining customers in East & Central Africa, including tendering, pricing negotiations, and contract discussions and signing.
- Serve as the trusted advisor and primary point of contact for Chinese clients by conducting regular business reviews, understanding customer needs and pain points, and aligning Epiroc’s offerings to their operational goals.
- Work together with the local aftermarket team to drive aftermarket sales and deliver customer services
- Coordinate with local Field Service Engineers (FSE) and technical specialists to ensure smooth equipment startup, training, and ongoing support
- Work closely with Regional CC and division teams to ensure coordinated customer engagement.
- Facilitate communication between Chinese customers and RCC to ensure clarity and speed in project execution
- Monitor deal profitability and ensure cross-border compliance throughout the deal process.
- Promote Chinese business practices within the local Epiroc organization to improve service delivery and customer experience.
- Participate in regular regional review meetings, and provide transparent updates on account performance, challenges, and opportunities.
Qualifications & Competencies
- Language:

- Native-level fluency in Mandarin Chinese; proficiency in English.
- Experience:

- Solid experience in Chinese key account management, preferably in mining, heavy equipment, or industrial sectors.
- Proven track record in managing complex, cross-border projects from tender management to contract negotiation.
- Technical Knowledge

- Understanding of underground mining methods and equipment (drill rigs, loaders, utility vehicles, etc.).
- Ability to engage with technical teams and interpret customer operational needs.

Location:
- China: frequent travel to East and Central Africa, preferably, 2~3 weeks/month in East & Central Africa
