We are currently seeking a dedicated and proactive Sales Engineer to manage district sales within the Underground Division. This is an excellent opportunity to play a pivotal role in driving sales growth and strengthening our market presence in the assigned region.

Key Responsibilities

  • Take full ownership of sales and achieve assigned sales targets through a combination of personal efforts and effective distributor network management.
  • Strategically increase and monitor market share within your assigned territory, ensuring consistent growth and customer satisfaction.
  • Build and nurture strong, long-term relationships with customers and dealers through regular visits and effective communication channels such as telephone calls.
  • Collaborate closely with the Sales Manager to assist in setting realistic and ambitious sales targets aligned with company goals.
  • Manage and support dealers within the defined territory to maximize distribution efficiency and market penetration.
  • Conduct thorough market research and competitive analysis by gathering, evaluating, and interpreting market data to inform sales strategies.
  • Identify new business opportunities and proactively share insights with the management team to support strategic decision-making.
  • Represent Epiroc at industry seminars and exhibitions, actively contributing to marketing initiatives that promote our brand and products.
  • Develop and maintain in-depth product and application knowledge, ensuring you are fully equipped to provide expert advice and solutions to clients.
  • Organize and deliver training sessions on technical sales skills and product applications for key account customers and distributors to enhance their expertise and sales capabilities.
  • Coordinate effectively with product, aftermarket, logistics, and credit teams to ensure seamless sales administration processes, including:
    • Working with the aftermarket team to provide excellent after-sales service and customer support.
    • Maintaining close communication with the logistics team to ensure timely and orderly delivery of machinery.
    • Liaising with the product team to secure necessary product support and technical assistance.
    • Managing account receivables in compliance with company credit policies to maintain healthy financial operations.

  • Adhere strictly to company policies, including The Epiroc Way, the Code of Conduct, and compliance requirements.
  • Demonstrate a strong safety awareness by complying with all safety regulations on company and customer sites to ensure a safe working environment.

Required Experience and Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in machinery sales within the mining or construction sectors, demonstrating a proven track record of success.
  • University degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field is required.
  • Proficiency in English communication is advantageous and will enhance your ability to collaborate effectively in a global environment.
