Location: Nanjing, China

This role offers the opportunity to take full ownership of sales activities within a defined territory, driving growth and market share through individual effort and distributor network management. Located onsite in Nanjing, you will be part of a dynamic team within the Underground Division.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Take full accountability for sales performance, achieving established sales targets by leveraging both personal expertise and a network of distributors.
  • Monitor and increase market share in your assigned region, staying informed on market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs.
  • Develop and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with customers and dealers through regular visits and proactive telephone communication.
  • Support the Sales Manager in setting realistic and ambitious sales targets based on market analysis and business objectives.
  • Effectively manage dealers within your designated territory to ensure aligned sales efforts and high service standards.
  • Gather, evaluate, and analyze market information to identify new business opportunities and share insights with the management team.
  • Represent Epiroc at seminars, exhibitions, and other marketing events to promote brand visibility and product knowledge.
  • Continuously develop expert knowledge of Epiroc products and applications to offer value-added consulting and technical sales support.
  • Organize and deliver training sessions on product technical sales skills to key accounts and distributor personnel, fostering their competency and engagement.
  • Coordinate sales administration activities cross-functionally with the product, aftermarket, logistics, and credit teams to ensure seamless delivery and customer satisfaction:
    • Collaborate closely with the aftermarket team to provide exceptional after-sales service.
    • Maintain strong communication with the logistics team to facilitate timely and orderly product deliveries.
    • Work with the product team to obtain necessary product support and updates.
    • Manage account receivables in accordance with company credit policies to maintain financial health.
  • Champion Epiroc’s customer-first approach by delivering value-added services and excellent care to current and prospective customers.
  • Adhere strictly to company policies outlined in The Epiroc Way, including compliance with the Code of Conduct and safety regulations on company and customer sites.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in machinery sales within the mining or construction sectors, demonstrating success in sales and customer relationship management.
  • University degree or higher, preferably in mechanical engineering or a related field, with a strong technical foundation.
  • Proficiency in English communication is advantageous, enabling effective interaction with international teams and customers.
