Service Mechanic

Job Responsibility:
1. Execute precision assembly of mechanical and electronic components per engineering drawings and SOPs.
2. Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair faulty electronic/electrical components (e.g., sensors, control systems, wiring).
3. Perform disassembly, inspection, and reassembly of heavy machinery during overhaul processes.
4. Interpret technical manuals, schematics, and CAD diagrams for accurate assembly/repair.
5. Conduct functional testing and quality checks to ensure compliance with performance standards.
6. Maintain documentation of repair logs, defects, and corrective actions.
7. Strictly follow company and client-site safety regulations (e.g., PPE, lockout/tagout, hazardous material handling).
8. Report potential hazards and participate in safety improvement initiatives.
9. Coordinate with engineers, supervisors, and peers to resolve complex technical issues.
10. Mentor junior technicians and share knowledge of best practices.
Requirements:
1. 5+ years of hands-on experience in repairing/overhauling engineering/mining machinery (e.g., hydraulic systems, drills, excavators).
2. Proven track record in electronic component repair (PCBs, motors, power supplies).
3. Workshop/field experience in machinery maintenance, preferably in mining/construction sectors.
4. Team-oriented with strong communication skills to collaborate across departments.
5. Resilient under pressure, able to manage tight deadlines in a dynamic environment.
6. Detail-oriented with a problem-solving mindset for complex technical challenges.
7. Adaptability to work in workshop or client-site conditions (e.g., mines, remote locations).
