Position Objective

Lead the technical execution of Electrification Solutions (EES) R&D projects in Nanjing, with a focus on electrical infrastructure, electrification systems, and ventilation solutions.

Act as a key technical contributor and coordinator to ensure alignment with global R&D standards and support both global programs and regional project delivery.

Main Accountabilities

1. Technical Leadership

Lead design and development of:
- Electrical infrastructure systems (power distribution, MCC, substations)
- Electrification systems (BESS, EV charging, power electronics)
- Ventilation systems (fans, motors, VFDs)
Ensure compliance with Epiroc engineering standards and applicable regulations
Review and validate engineering designs, documents, and technical solutions

2. Project Delivery

Execute R&D and customer projects within:
- Scope, timeline, cost, and quality targets
Support global R&D programs and regional(Canada, Australia, and others) projects
Coordinate cross-functional collaboration (Product, Supply Chain, Quality)

3. Team Support & Coordination

Provide technical guidance and daily support to engineering team
Assign and track tasks within projects
Mentor junior engineers and support capability development

4. Communication & Collaboration

Act as technical interface between Nanjing and global R&D teams
Communicate technical decisions, risks, and project status effectively
Participate in global design reviews and coordination meetings

5. Continuous Improvement

Drive standardization, reuse, and engineering efficiency
Support cost reduction and localization initiatives
Contribute to technology development and innovation activities

6. Health, Safety & Compliance

Ensure adherence to Epiroc SHEQ and engineering quality standards
Promote safe and compliant engineering practices

Qualifications

Education

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline

Experience

6–10 years of experience in:
- Electrical infrastructure or power systems
- Electrification systems (BESS, chargers, power electronics)
Experience in R&D or product development environment
Experience working in international or cross-regional teams preferred

Key Competencies

Strong electrical engineering knowledge
Experience in system integration and industrial applications
Good communication skills in English and Chinese
Strong problem-solving capability
Ability to lead technical work and support team execution
