Mission

The mission for this position is responsible for responsible and lead new developing underground product technical project with high-quality requirements to meet the project KPIs in Epiroc Nanjing Product company.

Job description

As a Technical Project Leader, you should following UMR design guideline and legal and regulatory standards. With collaboration, innovation, commitment spirit, high sense of responsibility to customers and products, you will have following responsibilities:

• Participate in new product development and lead the technical project to follow project process
• Responsible the technical projects for underground production equipment
• Lead the projects technical solution and design reviews
• Design mechanisms for different part of the underground excavation equipment
• Create and maintain bill of material for the product and sub-assemblies
• Participate in continuous product development process
• Select standard hardware and components
• Calculate and analyze load and stress level in structures and components
• Select material and specify manufacture process
• Fully responsible R&D output to product development circle
• Assist technical service team on any field problems during field test
• Write machine test procedures when needed

Competence requirements

• More than 5 years experiences in mining or construction equipment design.
• Good command in English is required or strong ambition to learn.
• Strong background in mining or construction equipment design and layout.
• 3D/2D design and draft ability for components and entire machine.
• Experience in new product development project is preferable.
• Knowledge of relevant regulations and standards of this type of product.
• Have successful product innovation experience and obtain excellent feedback from customers or the market is the best

Knowledge / Educational requirements

BSc. Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.

• Must be a hands-on type of person.
• Self starter and goal orientated.
• Interested in new things, and continue to explore new software, AI tools, digitalization, electrification and intelligence
• Attention to details and strong sense of responsibility.
