Job Responsibilities:
- Annual Goal Setting: Collaborate with the General Manager and Business Controller to establish annual sale goal and financial targets for UMR business line and communicate effectively with Distribute Channel Managers and other cross-functional departments.
- Product Portfolio: product portfolio development and management including NPI and phase out.
- Kick off new product R&D project together with customer approval and R&D spec, delivers market-aligned growth, we will partner closely with R&D teams to provide strategic planning and critical development recommendations.
- Market Insight & Product Line Strategy: Based on corporate strategy, lead teams in conducting in-depth market research to analyze industry trends, customer needs, and competitor activities.
- Drive CPI: Drive CPI by actively integrating customer feedback. Each product enhancement is designed to deliver tangible value—through optimized performance, greater reliability, and better market fit. This customer-centric development cycle ensures our products generate sustainable, long-term value.
- End-to-End Sales & Operations Management: Responsible for setting sales targets, developing detailed plans, and monitoring performance. Design promotional strategies through data analysis and coordinate with regional channels to boost sales. Lead sales forecasting and collaborate with channels and distributors to optimize inventory strategies, balance supply and demand, and reduce overstock and logistics costs.
- Product Pricing: Provide pricing recommendations to the Marketing Department for reference.
- Sales Task Management: Set sales targets and develop detailed sales plans, monitor sales performance, analyze sales data, and design effective promotion strategies and campaigns. Coordinate with Regional Channel Managers to increase sales and market share.
- SRP and Inventory Management: Manage and evaluate sales plan forecasts for the product line. Collaborate with Regional Channel Managers and distributors to develop effective inventory management strategies, streamline inventory processes, balance supply and demand, minimize overstock, reduce logistics costs, and achieve inventory goals for the business line.
- Product Promotion: Work with Product Managers and the Marketing & Sales Support team to prepare and update product promotion materials, including sales copy, product introductions, and presentations, to support regional channel teams and marketing campaigns. Ensure all materials are up-to-date and effectively highlight product features and advantages to attract more customers to choose GIA's products and services.
- Establish Reference Customers: Identify and target strategic projects to pursue, develop and executing tailored project plans. Strengthen collaboration with distributors and key stakeholders to ensure project success, while maximizing the demonstration value of reference cases to support broader market expansion and validation.
- Product Data Management: Maintain and manage product-related data, including production data, specifications, product positioning, cost-performance analysis, customer segmentation, and market mix. Collaborate with Product Managers and factories to collect and respond to customer feedback and improvement suggestions.
- Distributor Product Training: Conduct exclusive product knowledge and competitive comparison training for distributors. Assist distributors with product introductions and application communications for key projects.
Experience Requirements:
– 10+ years of sales or product management experience in the industry.
Professional Knowledge/Education Requirements:
– College degree or higher.
– Major in Marketing, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
