Job Title: Assistant Engineer - Mechanical

 

Job Mission

As a mechanical technologist you will be a part of assembly team & shall have the scope of responsibilities that include assembly & testing of machines. Your role is to improve in efficiency by safe and advance assembly techniques. Focus on LEAN, KAIZEN, 5S etc. to produce quality and on time delivery product.

 

Job description

  • It will be your mission to assemble products as per Epiroc standards
  • You should contribute efficiently in assembling & testing of products & deliver product to customer with right quality & deliver on time.
  • You should be able to complete assembly, setting & testing activities of Epiroc products
  • You will coordinate with mechanical / electrical technician to test the product properly.
  • Support engineering development activities
  • You should follow safety in work place
  • You should follow 5S in work place
  • You should always have LEAN approach while working
  • You should continuously contribute to KAIZEN.
  • Your focus should be on continuous improvement in assembly practices.
  • You will be responsible for checking of hydraulic circuit, test the rig with all hydraulic functions & to complete trouble shooting part of the machine.

Experience requirements

  • The candidate should be diploma mechanical with at least 3-4 years of industrial experience in assembly, testing of products.
  • Experience in heavy machinery assembly is an advantage.

Knowledge

  • Good knowledge of assembly drawings, hydraulics, schematics
  • Technical knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic components
  • Basic knowledge of mechanical and electrical engineering

 

Educational requirements

  • Diploma Mechanical
