The PSD Project Office team is a major contributor in facilitating the NPD projects of the capital division surface and underground, along with the PSD Hub. To accelerate this transformation, we are looking for dynamic and creative engineers who will think out of the box to support various stakeholders in providing safe, reliable, and time-efficient solutions sustainably.

Job description:

The function shall:

• Take full responsibility for assigned projects and manage them during all phases within the agreed scope, time and budget
• Be an active player to continuously reduce the total cost of ownership
• Prepare relevant KPI: s and follow up regularly along with functional leaders

• Work actively with project process development

• When required, be the driver for larger improvements, implementations and development work

Always promote a positive customer-oriented attitude with the spirit of “there is always a better way“ to do things!

Mission:

• Project Management for MRS activities within New Development Projects and MRS internal projects
• MRS coordinator when needed, for example, special order
• Fully responsible for all cross-functional deliveries in the PSD project office deliverables
• Formulate goals, objectives, exclusions, time plan & budget for the project together with the project team and according to the project manual
• Define the project’s resource and competence needs
• Plan, follow up and update the resource needs, communicating swiftly to the resource’s line organisation if there is a need for change
• Motivate and support colleagues in the team and secure support for the project in the organisation
• Manage the project using appropriate tools such as meetings, reviews etc
• Continuously handle risks in the project
• Keep key stakeholders and the project sponsor informed about project progress
• Establish the necessary preconditions and “tools for the job” so that everybody in the project can work, cooperate and communicate effectively
  
  

Formal knowledge and experience needed

• BE/BTech in Mining or Mechanical engineering with 6-8 years or Diploma with 8-12 years of relevant experience  
• Creative, Energetic, positive, open-minded, team player, willing to learn, and approachable.
• Good technical understanding of the Epiroc equipment, underground and/or surface
• Strong communications skills, both written and verbal
• Proven Project Management skills and good knowledge of project management models
• Well-organised with a good structure and ability to work independently as well as in teams
• Proven skills in project management tools like Asana, Excel, project planner, etc
• Enabler - Results-oriented with a high level of flexibility
• Hands-on experience with EPR and PLM software like TC and M3
• Proficiency in MS office tools
