We are currently looking for a Bank Accountant to join our Finance team in Kazakhstan. This role is ideal for an accounting professional with strong treasury and banking operations experience who enjoys working in an international environment and ensuring efficient financial processes.

Your Mission

As a Bank Accountant, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely execution of banking transactions, cash management activities, and compliance with currency control requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and process payment orders in national and foreign currencies.
• Register Contract Accounting Numbers (CAN) and prepare all required documentation for foreign currency payments.
• Prepare documents for currency conversion transactions.
• Receive and process bank statements and record transactions in 1C and BPCS.
• Prepare cash reporting and reconcile cash balances between BPCS, 1C, and SAP BW.
• Liaise with banks on matters related to banking operations and currency control.
• Prepare cash flow information required for financial and management reporting.
• Maintain accounts receivable records and process incoming bank statements.
• Organize and maintain documentation related to banking transactions.
• Support internal and external audit activities when required.
• Perform additional tasks and responsibilities assigned by the manager to support business objectives. 

What You Bring

Education & Experience

• Higher education in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of accounting experience, preferably in treasury or banking operations.

Technical Skills

• Strong knowledge of 1C (mandatory).
• Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel and Word.
• Experience with BPCS is considered an advantage.
• Understanding of banking operations, foreign currency payments, and currency control requirements.

Languages

• Russian - fluent.
• Kazakh - working proficiency.
• English - working proficiency.
