Planning Engineer

The role:

• planning annual, quarterly, and monthly maintenance and repair schedules for mining equipment;
• monitoring execution of maintenance programs and analyzing deviations in schedules and downtime;
• analyzing equipment availability and reliability, and preparing measures to reduce failures and unplanned repairs;
• planning resource requirements for maintenance and repairs (workforce, spare parts, materials);
• preparing planning, reporting, and analytical data to support management decision‑making;
• coordinating with production, technical, and contractor teams in compliance with industrial safety requirements.

Skills&requirements:

• Secondary or higher technical education (mining, mechanical, electrical, or a related discipline);
• Experience in planning maintenance and repairs (M&R) of mining equipment, preferably 3 years or more;
• Knowledge of operating, maintenance, and repair principles for mining equipment (open‑pit or underground mining);
• Experience in developing and controlling annual, quarterly, and monthly maintenance schedules;
• Skills in downtime analysis, equipment availability, and reliability assessment;
• Proficient user of MS Excel, MS Office, and ERP systems;
• Understanding of industrial safety, occupational health, and technical regulatory requirements;
• Ability to work with large datasets and prepare analytical reports;
• Strong coordination and communication skills with production and contractor teams.
