Product Manager (Drilling)

The Role:
• Work out business strategies for Epiroc Underground Drilling products and activities to monitor market demand, market share, competitor activities and competitors products.
• Consult with the customer regarding the appropriate product selection for particular applications.
• Product technical and marketing support of all sales force by helping in selection proper models, options, and placing and control orders for underground drilling equipment.
• Liaise with the Product Divisions regarding; Products and Market demands for product and technology, Market trends (prices, deliveries, equipment needs), Market share information, Competitor activities and products.
• Local modification underground drilling equipment products when needed
• Travel as required to fulfil the duties of the role and this includes travel on weekends or overseas.
• Prepare and organize suitable training / training material to assist in the education of the sales force.
• Ensure there is good cooperation between departments, to ensure customers are approached with one common front.
• Ability to maintain and promote relationships with customers
• Promote relationships based on mutual commitment ensuring long-term cooperation and continuous orders.
• Research of the Central Asia market in relation to potential business for Capital Eqipment, as well as market research in relation to the activities of competitors.
• Frequent customer meetings / visits.
• Close contact with the PC and provision of marketing feedback from Central Asia.
• Help with quotation of the underground drilling equipment for the region.
• Follow Epiroc Code of Conduct.
• Perform functions or duties in accordance with the requirements of " The Epiroc Way"
• Compliance with the basic rules of Epiroc.
• Support the company's goals regarding diversity and inclusion.
• Demonstrate interpersonal communication skills at all levels, including team work, leadership, as well as written and oral communication skills.
Skills:
• Highly motivated, "hands on", energized, enthusiastic with passion and commitment for doing things in the right way, without risking loss of business.
• Strong written and verbal communication skillset
• Fluency in English and Russian, additional languages as an asset
• Solid underground application and technical knowledge
• Solid experience from the mining and construction industry/equipment
• Good comprehension of basic and intermediary financial statements and calculations.
