Are you ready?

As Product Manager Underground, you play a pivotal role in driving the sustainable growth of the Parts & Service Division (PSD) within the Underground segment. You act as the voice of the customer, bridging market needs with internal capabilities to shape and deliver value-driven service and product offerings. Your responsibilities span strategic portfolio development, market intelligence, customer engagement, and cross-functional collaboration.
You are accountable for:Business Development: Identifying opportunities, defining product value, and supporting premium positioning of Epiroc solutions.
Customer-Centric Innovation: Gathering insights from field visits, developing case studies, and translating customer feedback into actionable improvements.
Strategic Alignment: Supporting Epiroc's priorities in safety, digitalization, and sustainability through tailored offerings and proactive planning.
Operational Excellence: Coordinating with CES, training, sales, and planning teams to ensure seamless execution and customer satisfaction.
Market Leadership: Conducting competitive analysis, pricing strategy, and territory management to reinforce Epiroc's leadership in the Surface segment.

Professional Competences
Technical Expertise: Solid understanding of underground mining equipment operation and maintenance. Ability to identify technical solutions and communicate them effectively to customers.Product Knowledge: Familiarity with Epiroc's product portfolio and competitor offerings in the underground mining segment.
Market Insight: Ability to analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to shape product strategy and value propositions.

Skills

Customer-Centric Communication: Strong interpersonal and presentation skills to articulate product value and engage with stakeholders across functions.
Analytical Thinking: Capability to interpret customer feedback, assess product performance, and develop case studies that demonstrate ROI and technological benefits.
Project Coordination: Experience in cross-functional collaboration, including sales, service, training, and engineering teams.
Digital Literacy: Proficiency in MS Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) for reporting, analysis, and presentation.
Language Skills: English proficiency at a minimum Elementary level (reading, writing, speaking) to operate in a multinational environment.

Experience

Industry Background: Minimum 3 years of experience in mining or construction equipment aftermarket (sales, service, or product management).
Field Exposure: Experience with customer site visits, product evaluations, and feedback collection to inform product development and service strategies.
Sales & Marketing Support: Proven ability to support pricing strategies, tender documentation, and development of sales tools and training materials.
