Product Manager (Midlife)
 

We are seeking a Product Manager (Midlife) – Alternative Offering to drive the development and promotion of alternative solutions, spare parts, and services for both Epiroc and third-party equipment. This role is focused on delivering customer value, driving business growth, and supporting operational excellence through innovative and cost-effective offerings.

 

As a key link between customers, sales teams, and internal stakeholders, you will identify market opportunities, develop competitive solutions, and support the successful implementation of product and service strategies across the region.

 

Key Responsibilities

Portfolio Development

  • Identify customer needs, market trends, and business opportunities.
  • Analyze market gaps and develop alternative product and service offerings.
  • Define and communicate the value proposition of products and solutions.
  • Create case studies and success stories to demonstrate customer benefits and business impact.

 

Customer Engagement

  • Visit customer sites to understand production processes and operational challenges.
  • Gather customer feedback and translate insights into actionable product improvements.
  • Promote tailored solutions, service agreements, and value-added offerings.
  • Build strong relationships with customers and support long-term partnership development.

 

Sales and Marketing Support

  • Develop and maintain pricing strategies for the responsible market area.
  • Create and adapt sales tools, technical documentation, and marketing materials.
  • Support sales teams with product knowledge, customer presentations, and business cases.
  • Deliver product training and capability-building sessions for internal stakeholders.

 

Process and Quality Improvement

  • Monitor product performance and report quality-related issues.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement improvement opportunities.
  • Work closely with the CES department to streamline order processing and enhance internal workflows.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that increase efficiency and customer satisfaction.

 

Inventory and Campaign Management

  • Manage inventory levels to ensure product availability while optimizing stock value.
  • Develop and execute campaign strategies to increase product awareness and sales performance.
  • Monitor campaign results and recommend actions for continuous improvement.

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Experience in Product Management, Business Development, Technical Sales, or a similar role.
  • Knowledge of mining, construction, industrial equipment, spare parts, or service solutions is highly desirable.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Customer-focused mindset with a strong commercial drive.
  • Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
  • Willingness to travel and visit customer sites as required.
