Epiroc Central Asia Customer Center, is now recruiting for a Reliability & Continuous Improvement Manager (R&CIM) – PSD.

 

The role is based in Astana, Kazakhstan.

 

The Reliability & CI Manager’s mission is to manage and drive the work to improve Total Cost of Operation (TCO) for EPIROC’s products and be a facilitator with close collaboration with interface areas, establishing structure, implementing processes, and defining KPI’s to track performance and drive improvements.

It’s mission also supports the services activities development of Epiroc’s Continuous Improvement culture across the region by implementing, coaching, and supporting a new and existing operating model. The R&CIM will drive change with the specialist team and the organization through focused CI efforts of performance in safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.

 

R&CIM main responsibilities:

With a focus on the field services and processes, the R&CIM coaches, guides, and supports workshop and service operations managers, as well as front-line employees, to ensure the execution of the maintenance processes, standards, and achievement of business objectives.

Must possess a willingness and desire to work directly with his/her peers in the mining environment, throughout Epiroc and customer processes to define and set a strategy for continuous improvement efforts for new and existing operations.

Develop and establish processes and methodologies to proactively define serviceability, reliability and maintainability of products.

Educate stakeholders and act as an ambassador for serviceability, reliability, and maintainability.

Be an active player to continuously reduce total cost of ownership.

Utilize industry standards for reliability, predictability, MTBF, MTTR, etc., where applicable.

Establish, measure and report KPI’s.

Perform data analytics. Establish a data model and standardized reports based on field information which should also consider environmental parameters influencing component life.

Continuously work with data accuracy.

Personally demonstrate a clear and visible leadership, internally throughout the Epiroc Central Asia organization, as well as with customers.

Team player and able to work and communicate in a collaborative way.

Develop all these areas in a close but balanced cooperation with other interface areas, based on solid customer input.

The work environment includes being occasionally exposed to work near moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles and outdoor weather conditions.  Personal Protection Equipment is mandatory in this role. This position is considered Safety Sensitive.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in engineering

5-7 years of relevant experience in the field of service and maintainability, at a minimum.

Proven background in managing suppliers across several regions.

Advanced verbal, written and presentation communication skills with a strong customer focus are required.

Proven proficiency in English

Ability to work with multidisciplinary teams and as a project leader.

Proficiency in MS Office, especially Word, Excel and Outlook is required

Maturity to be able to work with and also get things done through non-reporting  colleagues.

Ability to promote always a positive and safe working environment both with co-workers and with customers.

Ability to lead change through a large organization consisting of in-house employees.

Strong analytical skills;

Outstanding leadership skills: ability to build strong teams, succession planning and supporting The Epiroc Way.
