As a you a strategic and proactive partner to the Sales & Marketing team, this role is dedicated to driving sustainable and profitable growth across the Surface Drilling and Exploration product lines. The mission includes identifying and developing new market opportunities, steering projected growth, and strengthening our competitive position. Success in this role means safeguarding and expanding market share while being consistently recognized as a trusted partner and a provider of high‑quality, reliable equipment.
Your Mission
- Drive profitable business growth by ensuring strong performance of existing operations, increasing market and customer share, and maintaining consolidated profitability.
- Manage working capital effectively, ensuring inventory and receivables remain within target levels.
- Develop new business opportunities by building strong customer relationships, expanding the client base in Mining and Exploration, and collaborating with the sales team to create an agile, customer‑centric strategy.
- Strengthen sales and marketing impact through deep product knowledge, understanding customer requirements, developing tailored value propositions, preparing presentations/reports, and actively supporting tender development and negotiation.
- Expand market presence in West Africa by partnering with Business Partners to position products competitively and communicate key technical and service advantages.
- Execute effective territory management by maintaining live market data, tracking customer fleets and projects, monitoring competitor activity, and contributing to strategic planning through market and competitive intelligence.
Your Profile:
- Technical knowledge of Surface and exploration drilling equipment
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience in mining industry.
- Strong understanding of surface and exploration drilling application and Total Cost of Ownership (TCO).
- Analytical capacity and oriented to the development of strategies.
- Excellent English language skills, reading, writing, verbal. French is considered as an asset.
- Degree in Engineering, Mining/Mechanical, Geology, or equivalent gained by experience.
