Join our team in Obuasi within the Parts & Services Division EMEA as a Customer Care Officer supporting Mining & Rock Excavation sales and services. In this pivotal Equipment & Service role, you will be at the centre of customer engagement, delivering exceptional support that drives sustainable growth and strengthens brand loyalty in line with Epiroc’s commitment to excellence and innovation.
Reporting to the Regional Customer Care Manager, you will provide proactive communication, efficient problem resolution, and seamless service coordination. Acting as the key link between customers and internal teams, you will apply strong product knowledge while collaborating across departments under the “One Region – One Team – United in Growth” philosophy to enhance customer satisfaction and business performance.
Your Mission
- Manage incoming customer communications via phone, email, and face-to-face interactions, delivering accurate and timely information about our products and services.
- Efficiently resolve customer complaints and concerns ensuring satisfaction and maintaining goodwill.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Epiroc's mining equipment to provide expert assistance.
- Build and nurture long-term customer relationships aimed at loyalty and retention, conducting follow-ups to address ongoing needs.
- Collaborate with service and sales teams to schedule appointments and track service requests, ensuring seamless customer experiences.
- Gather and analyze feedback to identify improvement opportunities, presenting actionable insights to management and supporting implementation of enhancements.
- Keep accurate records of all customer interactions and prepare regular performance reports using CRM tools and software such as BPCS, M3, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Adhere to all company policies, ethical standards, and health and safety regulations while ensuring best practices in service delivery.
Your Profile:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, Communications, or a related discipline.
- 1-3 years of professional experience in customer service, preferably within the mining equipment or a closely related industry.
- Fluent English communication skills are essential; proficiency in French is highly valued.
- Strong interpersonal and communication capabilities to engage effectively with diverse customers and internal teams.
- Excellent problem-solving and conflict resolution skills to manage complex situations with professionalism.
- Proficiency in CRM software alongside BPCS and M3 systems, as well as Microsoft Office applications.
- Effective multitasking and time management aptitude to handle multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Willingness to undertake local travel regularly and occasional regional travel to meet client needs and foster relationships.
