In this role, your mission and responsibilities will be to:
This Cycle Counter role is responsible for maintaining Cycle Count Program and other duties as assigned by Materials Manager. Specifically, you’ll:
- Charged with the responsibility of defining obstacles and aid in creating solutions concerning safety, identifying safety hazards, and suggesting corrective actions.
- Complete all necessary paperwork daily including necessary computer transactions using proper forms and procedures dealing with inventory movement through department.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records and verify component quantities against system data.
- Perform routine cycle counts and effectively troubleshoot variances or data errors.
- Investigate inventory discrepancies and assist in developing corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Ensure all inventory transactions are completed accurately in the ERP system (e.g., adjustments, receipts, transfers).
- Monitor material flow within the warehouse and production areas to identify potential issues affecting inventory accuracy.
- Support audits by providing documentation, explaining variances, and maintaining organized inventory records.
- Collaborate with warehouse, production, and procurement teams to resolve material shortages or location issues.
- Follow company safety practices and procedures to provide a safe work environment for all team members.
- Obtain forklift certification, operate fork trucks in a safe and efficient manner to move material.
- Assist Logistics Coordinator unloading trucks and moving stock to proper locations.
- Perform all other duties, as required, to meet customer and company quality and productivity needs
Experience and requirements:

- High School diploma or GED required.
- Working knowledge ERP/MRP systems.
- Experience with Infor Styeline is a plus.
- Ability to reconcile stock counts to report data.
- Proficient in Excel, strong data analysis, and problem solving.
- Ability to prepare routine administrative paperwork.
- Self-directed with ability to take initiative.
- Excellent critical thinking, communication, problem solving skills and interpersonal skills
