THE OPPORTUNITY:
JTMEC is seeking experienced and qualified Workshop Electricians to join our established manufacturing team based in Orange, NSW.
This role is ideal for electricians who enjoy structured workshop environments, detailed electrical builds, and producing high‑quality assemblies rather than constant site‑to‑site work. You’ll be working on electrical manufacturing and project builds in a clean, well‑resourced workshop with consistent hours and a strong safety culture.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
- Workshop‑based electrical manufacturing and assembly
- Switchboard, control panel, and electrical system builds
- Wiring, fit‑out, testing, and fault‑finding of electrical assemblies
- Reading and interpreting electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and layouts
- Ensuring all work meets Australian Standards and internal quality procedures
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised workshop environment
- Supporting continuous improvement in build quality and processes
WHAT YOU’LL NEED
- Current NSW Electrical Licence
- Current NSW Driver’s Licence
- Experience working in a workshop or manufacturing environment
- Strong attention to detail and quality control
- Confidence interpreting drawings, schematics, and technical documentation
- Commitment to a ZERO Harm safety culture
- Reliable, self‑motivated, and takes pride in neat, accurate workmanship
DESIRABLE (BUT NOT ESSENTIAL)
- Switchboard or control panel building experience
- Manufacturing or production‑based electrical experience
- LV/CPR
- Forklift licence
- High Risk Work Licence (WP)
- Working Safely at Heights or Confined Space
