Product Application Engineer

The role:

Technical Support and Customer Training
•    Conducting customer training on the operation of Epiroc equipment and drilling tools.
•    Regular visits to drilling sites to monitor tool performance, improve efficiency, and record operating hours and causes of failures.
•    Providing on-site support, discussing customer concerns, proactively identifying issues, and offering solutions.
•    Timely communication of customer complaints, escalation of unresolved issues to the immediate supervisor, and involving colleagues when needed for quick resolution.
Collaboration with Sales and Business Development
•    Supporting the promotion and sales of new Epiroc drilling tools.
•    Training and operational support for sales engineers and dealers on Epiroc products.
•    Developing customer support and increasing customer satisfaction.
•    Participating in key projects and customer activities together with colleagues and other divisions as part of the overall strategy.
Product Management and Market Analysis
•    Collecting information and recording the performance of drilling tools from other manufacturers at customer sites.
•    Monitoring the competitive environment and gathering data for analytical reports for management.
Documentation and Reporting
•    Regular reporting on completed work, including: 
o    monthly reports to the immediate supervisor;
o    reports to the responsible person managing data registration;
o    timely submission of reports in accordance with approved forms.
•    Ensuring availability of up to date technical and commercial documentation and materials in Russian.

Mission:

• Organization and direct participation in testing of Epiroc drilling tools in mines, underground operations, and open-pit sites.
• Spending at least 90% of working time on-site during testing activities.• Maximizing drilling tool performance during tests; achieving the best possible drilling results.
• Participation in the development of testing programs and methodologies; monitoring the implementation of testing programs at customer sites as an Epiroc representative.
• Maintaining records of the testing process: reports, protocols, statements, and conclusions based on results.
• Participation in the inspection and analysis of warranty cases related to drilling tools; preparation of corresponding reports and documentation. 

Competences&skills:

• Understanding of drilling methods, underground rigs drilling experience,  including analysis of mining and geological data, as well as knowledge of business process management principles.
• Basic to intermediate English proficiency, sufficient for reading technical documentation.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience with drilling tools, roof support or/and equipment
