Mission of the role:
Join us as an Expeditor and be a vital part of our team! Your mission is to Expedite purchase orders in order to ensure stock availability and OTIF targets. Let's achieve operational excellence together!
Your mission:
- Processing all purchase orders
- Working closely with the inbound and order fulfilment planners assigned to expedite the purchase orders; advise on the priorities list to ensure correct stock mix is effectively achieved as well as desired parts availability and OTIF targets are met
- Assist inbound and order fulfilment planners through weekly internal expediting meetings and external expediting meetings i.e.: external suppliers
- Support the inbound planner in maintaining 95% stocked parts availability
- Handle/process all redistribution requests (outgoing) and requirements (incoming)
- Handle surplus return and ensure it is conducted in accordance with EPIROC Surplus returns policies and completed with a recorded return credit
- Follow up and provide weekly reports of service jobs open purchase orders
Your profile:
- 2 to 3 Years of Supply Chain Experience.
- Good understanding of inventory management practices and procedures
- Knowledge of ERP packages
- Skilful MS Excel user.
- Thorough understanding of supply chain processes.
- Thorough understanding of domestic and international sales order throughput processes.
- Thorough understanding in logistic and distribution processes and compliance.
- Good English communication skills both verbal and written
