Are you ready?

 

While reportin g to the Local Purchaser and Facility officer, the Local Purchaser and Facility Trainee will support the Operations team in daily purchasing, fleet, and facility coordination activities and help prepare the audit. The role is designed to provide practical learning experience in procurement, administration, and facility operations while assisting the team in maintaining efficient business operations.

 

The role is mainly office-based with occasional visits to operational or customer sites when required. The trainee is expected to comply with company policies, safety standards, and operational procedures while contributing positively to the team environment.

 

Your Mission

  • Support procurement activities, including purchase orders, supplier follow-ups, and documentation.
  • Maintain procurement databases, supplier records, and administrative filing systems.
  • Assist with supplier communication, quotations, deliveries, and invoice tracking.
  • Monitor fleet and facility records, maintenance schedules, and compliance documentation.
  • Coordinate with service providers and support the upkeep of safe and operational facilities.
  • Provide general administrative and operational support to the Procurement, Fleet, and Facilities team.

 

Your Profile:

 

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Procurement, or related field.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.
  • Good communication skills in French and/or English.
  • Interest in procurement, logistics, and facility operations.
