Sales Manager - Francophone West Africa

This Sales Manager - Francophone West Africa is to be based either in Ivory Coast, Burkina-Faso or Mali. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Manager to lead our sales efforts in Francophone West Africa. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the mining equipment industry, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record of achieving sales targets. The Sales Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic sales plans, managing customer relationships, and driving business growth in the region.

Your Mission

• Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and grow the business across Anglophone West Africa.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key mining customers, partners, and stakeholders, ensuring high customer satisfaction.
• Lead, coach, and develop the sales team to deliver exceptional performance and achieve sales objectives.
• Oversee the full sales cycle, including lead generation, contract negotiation, closing, and reporting.
• Conduct market and competitor analysis to identify opportunities and drive data-informed sales decisions.
• Maintain strong product and industry knowledge, providing technical support and tailored solutions to customers and the sales team.

Your Profile:

• Bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering, Marketing, or a related field; Master's degree advantageous.
• 2-5 years’ sales experience in the mining equipment industry, including leadership/management experience.
• Fluency in French is essential.
• Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite, with a willingness to travel extensively across the region.
• Results-driven professional with high integrity, adaptability, resilience, and the ability to thrive in multicultural environments.
