Automation Project Manager

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Automation Project Manager to join our team based in Perth, Western Australia and lead ground-breaking automation and technology projects in the mining industry.
In a nutshell, as the Automation Project Manager, you will define project scopes, goals and outcomes. You will be responsible for planning and managing the deployment of cutting-edge automation and new technology products at our customers’ sites. You will work closely with our customers and internal stakeholders to ensure that the project is delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with the organisation’s goals.
You most certainly know that no two days will be the same and your fully equipped toolkit of prior experience in a similar role will help you navigate through those curly days. The role will require regular travel to client sites.
This is an exciting opportunity to be involved in a production environment at our customers’ mine sites and contribute to future automation projects.
You will ideally possess the following skills and experience:
- A relevant tertiary qualification and/or certification such as PMP, Prince 2 or equivalent will highly be regarded
- Demonstrated experience in managing complex projects
- Be a self-starter who is driven and has an entrepreneurial mindset
- Passionate about being customer centric and building and fostering strong relationships
- Experience in leading multidisciplinary teams and operating in a high pressured environment
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to influence successful outcomes
