With an expanding portfolio of Automation and Technology products, Epiroc is now hiring an Applications Specialist to join the Perth based Product Support team.

Epiroc's Application Specialists are the first point of contact for a selection of Epiroc's largest machine automation, guidance and telematics customers, and handle time-critical requests for support, technical information, data analytics and more.

Self-motivation and a proactive mindset are keys to success in this important role.

If you have less experience than others in the industry, or a career history outside of mining, we encourage you to apply - Epiroc may consider an entry-level role for the right applicant.

The successful applicant will have:

• A firm commitment to working safely and looking after your colleagues
• Tertiary or TAFE qualification, trade certificate or related training
• Experience with data analytics (SQL Database, Power BI)
• Advanced knowledge of IT, network and communication systems
• Commitment to providing quality customer service
• Strong analytical and conceptual problem-solving skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to prepare comprehensive documentation
• The passion and motivation to continuously improve
