Commercial Manager

We are currently seeking a Commercial Manager based at our Reid Road office, Perth Airport.  Reporting to the General Manager, the successful applicant will be responsible for leading and administering all commercial, contracts and tendering activities for Epiroc Australia Pty Ltd. 

Your main responsibilities will include:

• Ensuring that commercial and contractual activities are undertaken in the most efficient and logical order with consideration given to key performance indicators.
• Provide timely guidance and advice to ensure activities comply with laws, regulations, policies and guidelines. Raise potential commercial or contractual risks/issues and work to resolve.
• Advise and support Business Line Managers in the preparation, negotiation and execution of contracts with clients, to ensure minimum requirements are met, and business risk is minimized.
• Establish positive and cooperative workplace relationships to help develop high performing teams.
• Support the identification and implementation of strategies to enter new business areas that fulfil the organisation’s vision.

• Ability to foster and maintain good working relationships with key stakeholders.
• The successful candidate must have the ability to change priorities and meet deadlines.
• Superior negotiation and influencing skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a strong stakeholder management focus.
• Commercially astute and strategic in approach you will have a successful track record of meeting and exceeding targets.
• Experience within the resources sector preferred
• Tertiary qualifications accounting or equivalent
