Kinetic Logging Services Pty Ltd is an Epiroc entity and a leading supplier of Geophysical Services in Australia, with offices in Perth, Newman and North Queensland.

We are currently seeking an Entry Level Field Operators to join our team supporting operations across the Pilbara region of Western Australia on an 8:6 FIFO roster from Perth.

About the Role:

This dynamic field-based role involves the safe operation and ongoing maintenance of our geological data collection services, including OreSight and our Geophysics Logging Services. These services play a critical role in improving safety, quality and productivity outcomes for our major mining customers.

  • The vehicles you will operate may be semi-autonomous (OreSight) or require manual operation (Geophysics Logging Service).
  • Work environments include pit/production mining areas and exploration sites.

Key Responsibilities

As a Field Operator, you will:

  • Achieve daily operational KPIs.
  • Safely operate vehicles and specialised equipment to collect geological and geophysical data.
  • Troubleshoot operational, technical or mechanical issues in the field.
  • Communicate effectively with remote support teams.
  • Conduct routine inspections and ongoing maintenance of vehicles and equipment.
  • Work safely within pit, production mining and exploration environments.

About You:

  • Mechanical or technical aptitude with strong troubleshooting skills.
  • The ability to work autonomously and responsibly in remote locations.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow procedures and written instructions.
  • Effective time management and prioritisation skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Reliability, professionalism and a strong safety focus.
  • Experience operating trucks or 4WD vehicles across varied terrain (advantageous).
  • Motivation to grow and develop within a global organisation.

Applicants must: 

  • Hold a minimum of a Manual MR Drivers Licence
  • Have the Right to Work and Live in Australia
