We are seeking an experienced Global Maintenance Execution Planning Lead to play a pivotal role in converting predictive insights into safe, executable, and value-driven maintenance plans that maximize equipment uptime across our global customer operations.

 

This is a unique opportunity to lead the development and governance of maintenance execution planning as part of Epiroc's Uptime framework, helping drive the transition from reactive maintenance to predictive, data-driven service delivery 

 

About the role

Reporting to the Head of Predictive Services & Uptime, you will establish global standards, governance, and best practices for maintenance planning and execution readiness across Epiroc Customer Centres worldwide. You will be responsible for ensuring that predictive maintenance insights become fully planned and executable work packages, enabling reliable maintenance execution, improved asset availability, reduced operational risk, and measurable customer value. 

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

Lead Predictive-to-Execution Integration 

  • Convert predictive alerts, condition monitoring insights, and analytics outputs into executable maintenance work packages. 

  • Embed predictive maintenance into CMMS and ERP planning workflows. 

  • Enable proactive maintenance by transforming data-driven insights into scheduled work.

 

Drive Global Planning & Scheduling Excellence 

  • Lead the implementation of Service Master Data across global Customer Centres. 

  • Ensure all maintenance work is fully planned prior to execution. 

  • Establish standardized machine rebuild scopes and planning processes. 

  • Improve planned versus reactive maintenance performance. 

  • Align maintenance schedules with uptime commitments and operational constraints

 

Govern Master Data & Work Management Standards 

  • Champion S3000L-aligned master data and standardized job plans. 

  • Drive consistency in maintenance workflows, execution readiness processes, and continuous improvement practices. 

  • Ensure alignment with ISO 55000 asset management principles and the PSD Service Operating Model.

 

Enhance Execution Readiness 

  • Ensure labour, parts, tools, contractors, and resources are available before work is released. 

  • Eliminate delays caused by planning gaps and resource constraints. 

  • Align maintenance execution with production and contractual commitments.

 

Support Digital Transformation 

  • Integrate planning processes with predictive analytics platforms, condition monitoring systems, and maintenance execution platforms. 

  • Support the rollout of Epiroc Uptime solutions and digital service architecture. 

  • Promote data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement

 

Monitor Performance & Continuous Improvement 

  • Establish planning, scheduling, and execution KPIs. 

  • Improve schedule compliance, execution efficiency, and maintenance quality. 

  • Create feedback loops between execution teams, analytics functions, and maintenance engineering.

 

What we are looking for:

 

Qualifications:

  • Mechanical or Heavy Diesel Trade Qualification. 

  • Engineering Diploma or Degree (preferred). 

  • Asset Management certification aligned to ISO 55000 principles (preferred). 

  • Additional qualifications in maintenance planning, scheduling, or project management

 

Experience:

  • Extensive experience in maintenance planning and scheduling within mining or heavy mobile equipment environments. 

  • Strong understanding of maintenance execution, shutdown planning, machine rebuilds, and reliability improvement programs. 

  • Experience with CMMS and ERP systems such as SAP, M3, or equivalent. 

  • Deep knowledge of work order management, maintenance master data, BOMs, work packs, and execution workflows. 

  • Experience developing detailed maintenance work packages and resource estimates

 

Technical Expertise 

  • Heavy mobile equipment maintenance and repair. 

  • Preventive, corrective, and condition-based maintenance strategies. 

  • Work management and execution planning. 

  • Master data governance and planning data quality. 

  • Safety systems including Permit to Work, LOTO, JHA, and mine-site compliance requirements
