Mechanical Fitter

Kinetic Logging Services Pty Ltd is a division of EPIROC and is a leading supplier of Geophysical Services in Australia, with offices in Perth, Newman and Brisbane.

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Fitter on a permanent, full time basis, to join our manufacturing team!

About the Role:

Based in Kewdale and reporting to the Fitter - Leading Hand, you will be involved in:

• Ongoing innovative projects that are making a significant difference within the Mining Industry!
• Full Build out of our unique state of art vehicles for our flagship service, OreSight.
• Assembly and Installation of custom mechanical components
• Some light fabrication work
• Refurbishment of existing vehicles

About You:

You are looking for a new challenge, and want long term job security in a Unique Mining Technology Service Company! 

• Trade certificate - Automotive, Marine or General Mechanical!
• Minimum 3 years in trade experience
• Ability to follow engineering diagrams
• Australian Drivers license C Class - as a minimum
• Good mechanical ability/aptitude
• High regard for safety in the workplace
• Able to work in a team environment
• Have pride and attention to detail in their work
• Ability to follow instructions
• Good communication skills
• Flexible and resilient
• Eager to grow with a United and Inspired Company!

These extra skills are a BIG Advantage!

• Sound knowledge of various software programs
• Sound computer skills
• Fork lift license
• Experience with Hydraulic and Electric Drive Systems - highly desirable!
• LR Licence

• Be able to pass initial and on-going Drug and Alcohol screening
• Pass a Pre-Employment Medical
• Have the Right to Work and Live in Australia
• Provide up to 2 professional references
