We are currently seeking a Senior Projects Manager who will play a pivotal role in leading large business strategic projects for RCT ensuring successful execution of projects, meeting financial, scheduling and quality targets. Reporting to the Global Operations Manager, you will be responsible for the supervision of project teams and all activities undertaken including assessing responsibilities, designated specific requirements, and ensuring high quality delivery outcomes.
The key focus of this role includes but will not be limited to:
- Assume leadership of projects that vary in complexity and duration.
- Provide strategic direction, ensuring project teams are aligned around key goals, deliverables and project objectives.
- Mentorship of project teams
- Fostering positive relationships with customers and external providers
- Assess project responsibilities and designated project specific requirements including, scheduling requirements and milestone invoicing.
- Manage the day-to-day activities of team members and contractors engaged in the projects under your supervision.
- To ensure all work performed is within agreed schedules, forecasted budgets/material cost.
- Identify and report/quote on all items that are not included within a project scope.
To be successful in this role you will possess:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, IT, Electrical (low voltage) or related field
- Minimum 7 years of project management experience, including leadership of complex projects
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to be a team player
- Ambition, drive and energy to achieve outstanding results
- Strong numerical and literacy skills and the ability to think laterally to solve complex problems
- An innovative mindset and ability to think laterally to quickly problem solve, together with flexibility and a willingness to adapt to and embrace change.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation and collaboration skills
- Ability to work with ambiguity; prioritising changing deadlines whilst focussed on the business and customer experience
